
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Wilkes-Barre police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Monday afternoon following an altercation between two boys.
According to reports, a 17-year-old was stabbed by a 12-year-old at the younger boy's home on Madison Street. The victim reportedly had a prior issue with the suspect, who allegedly stabbed the older boy in the back before fleeing the scene.
The 17-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital. Police have not released information on whether the 12-year-old has been criminally charged, as juvenile criminal records in Pennsylvania are not public. The investigation remains ongoing.
