A shooting in downtown Wilkes Barre is under investigation. Police cruisers and emergency vehicles were dispatched to the area of Movies 14 Monday shortly before 4pm, leading to police shutting down a stretch of East Northampton Street. The shooting victim was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
