Residents in Wilkes Barre Township raised their concerns about traffic and road safety regarding a large warehouse project.
They spent Monday night asking developers about traffic concerns for the proposed warehouse on Johnson Street. Wilkes-Barre Township.
Planning Commissioners say trucks would likely use Johnson Street to reach the site after the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation rejected nearby Allen Road as an access point.
Commissioners voted to extend the review period for the project’s final land development plan until July 1.
The next township meeting on the proposal is scheduled for April 13 at 5:30 p.m.
