Updated: Winter Storm Warnings in Lack.,Susq. Wayne & Monroe Counties

The National Weather Service at Binghamton has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect in Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wayne and Monroe Counties for 4 to 8 inches of snow. There's a Winter Storm Advisory in effect for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties where 2 to 5 inches are expected.
StormTracker 16 forecasts says to expect the snowy part of this system to pick up overnight into the day Tuesday. The Pocono Mountains will see the highest snowfall totals out of this with a general 4-8" expected there. The valley cities come away with an inch or two. Just outside of the valleys, expect a couple additional inches of snow. The snow wraps up Tuesday night but it's expected to be windy Tuesday into Wednesday. Gusts to 50MPH are possible which could lead to power outages.
