Woman facing DUI charges in Luzerne County crash

Two juveniles were taken for treatment and a woman is behind bars after a crash in one part of Luzerne County. It happened Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of Carey Avenue in Hanover Township. According to Hanover Township Police, the vehicle 28 year old Bethany Mayewski was driving crossed the center line and crashed head on into another vehicle. She's now in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on charges including DUI, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
