Emergency crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of Jefferson Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports of flames coming from a home. Upon arrival, firefighters worked to contain the blaze while ensuring all occupants were accounted for.
Authorities confirmed that everyone inside the building was able to evacuate safely before the fire spread. However, one woman required medical attention for smoke inhalation and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
