Woman killed in accident on Interstate 84

An accident on Interstate 84 in Lackawanna County claimed the life of a woman. State Police say the crash happened last night on I-84 westbound in the left lane when the road curved; Melanie Colazzo of Greentown continued straight, leaving the roadway to the south of I-84. The car hit several signs until it rolled to a stop south of I-84 near mile marker 6. Authorities say Colazzo was not wearing a seatbelt. No word on what caused last night’s deadly crash in Lackawanna County.
