A New Hampshire man is facing multiple felony charges following a violent carjacking outside a hospital in Scranton on Tuesday morning. According to police reports, 58-year-old Jeffrey Hall of Nashua was discharged from Geisinger Community Medical Center around 7 a.m. when he allegedly approached a valet who was in the process of parking a vehicle. Hall is accused of grabbing the valet by the arm and forcibly throwing him from the car before taking control of the vehicle.
The situation escalated quickly as Hall reportedly sped away from the hospital entrance, striking two parked cars during his flight. Law enforcement officials were able to intervene, and Hall now faces several serious counts, including robbery of a motor vehicle and theft by unlawful taking, along with additional related offenses.
