Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb addressed the NFL’s decision to fine him more money for having an untucked jersey than they did for Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers who broke the league's coronavirus protocols as an unvaccinated player.

The star wideout told reporters Wednesday evening that the leagues' decision didn’t annoy him, but it sure did confuse him a lot.

"Annoy me? Nah. Confuse me a lot? Very much so, yes," Lamb told reporters. "I just don't understand why I'm always the one getting fined for some reason. Untucked jersey. I don't know."

This wasn’t the first fine Lamb has had an issue with this season. During the Cowboys' OT victory over the New England Patriots, Lamb caught the game-winning touchdown pass and proceeded to wave at Pats CB Jalen Mills after he shoved him into the end zone. Apparently, the league took an issue with this and fined Lamb over $10k.

“It was something crazy then for me to get choked on the sideline, and the ref said his thumb was stuck in my helmet. That’s crazy. That’s nonsense…I know what it feels like to be choked. I was being choked.”

The optics between Rodgers and Lamb’s fines is definitely a bad look for the league. Sure, despite some of the uniform rules in the NFL being pretty absurd, but to go ahead and fine a player more money for a uniform violation over a player who put the health of others at risk by not following COVID-19 protocols as an unvaccinated player.
