Asia Argento took to social media to remember her late partner Anthony Bourdain on his 65th birthday.
The actress, 45, shared a series of photos and videos of Bourdain to honor what would have been the. celebrity chef's milestone birthday on Friday.
“Celebrating the most incredible man I have ever met,” Argento captioned the post. “Missing you every day. Cherishing each moment we shared in our life together. I feel your presence and your strength. You shine so bright within me. I love you my A. Happy birthday ❤️.”
The contents of Argento’s post included several photos of the couple together, a video of Bourdain running a knife over a fish’s scales on the edge of a boat, and a video of him cooking a large meal inside a home kitchen.
Also included was a video that appears to be a message that Bourdain sent directly to Argento while traveling.

“It’s cold, and I wish I was with you now,” Bourdain says somberly in the intimate clip.
The death of Bourdain shocked the world after he was found dead by suicide his hotel room in France in June 2018. He was discovered unresponsive by chef, Eric Ripert, who was on site as the two were shooting an episode of Bourdain’s CNN travel show “Parts Unknown.”
“It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain,” the network said in a statement. "His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink, and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time."
A new documentary about the late Bourdain is forthcoming from Morgan Neville (“20 Feet from Stardom”). The film, titled “Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain,” will be available to watch on CNN and HBO Max on July 16.
