If I'm not mistaken, I believe they started raising money to build the statue of our beloved #19 in 1992 when the Indians were moving from Municipal to The Jake. 6,000 bricks with names of loved ones or messages left for were paid for by NE Ohioans so the statue of Bob Feller could greet us when we left the Thirsty Parrot to enter through center field.
