The Jen and Tim Show welcomed Zack Ward who played Scut Farkus on 'A Christmas Story' to raise awareness and encourage donations to support the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter. He talks about the event happening THIS weekend at the famous Cleveland house.
Zack Ward returns to Cleveland to raise awareness and support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Celebrating the release of the sequel to the 1983 cult classic film “A Christmas Story,” actor Zack Ward — who reprised his role this year as neighborhood racoon hat wearing bully 'Scut Farkus' for HBO Max’s “A Christmas Story Christmas” — will return to the real "Christmas Story" house in Cleveland and a local movie theater this December 17th & 18th for two, free public events to raise awareness and encourage donations to support the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter.
Zack is drawing on the nostalgic power of the family-favorite flick — and the excitement surrounding the sequel — by teaming up for the second year with the Alzheimer’s Association as an advocate and Celebrity Champion, in honor of his real-life father, Todd Ward, who is one of the 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease. Zack is going through a similar real-life story as seen in the new Christmas Story film, with his father at the end stages of Alzheimer's.
The two events, featuring Zack Ward, are free and open to the public with donations encouraged in an effort to raise awareness and funds to support Alzheimer’s care, support and research efforts. Event information as follows:
