You may have heard recently that the Cincinnati Bengals are playing in the Super Bowl this year. You'd assume that would be cause for excitement in Ohio, a state that doesn't exactly have an illustrious history with that game. Governor Mike DeWine thought the same thing, apparently; earlier this week, DeWine declared that this coming Sunday would be declared 'Bengals Day' in Ohio, with residents encouraged to wear the team's black and orange colors while cheering them on.

You may be wondering: did any part of the announcement sit well with Browns fans? Take one guess!

If nothing else, this is just a good lesson that sports can bridge some gaps but, you know, not all of them.
