BEREA, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns will be without Greg Newsome II Sunday against the Ravens after the rookie cornerback suffered a concussion late in practice Friday afternoon.

The team added Newsome to the injury report and listed him as questionable before officially ruling him out following the diagnosis.

Newsome fell and hit his head on the final play of practice the team said, leading to the injury.

Newsome was seen walking off the field with his head in his hands while a trainer carried his helmet.

The No. 26 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft had been having a strong rookie season starting nine of the 10 games he’s played where he has broken up seven passes.
