CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The NFL is back in business and returning to normal for the 2021 NFL season.
With stadiums returning to full capacity for teams, the league told clubs today that they will be permitted to host fans at training camp this summer, in accordance with local health and safety guidelines, according to NFL Network.
Behind the scenes Browns officials have been planning for multiple scenarios for training camp ranging from no fans to full capacity, but it is too early for them to determine how they will proceed a source said.
With the State of Ohio’s public health orders that limited capacity at events expiring on June 2, the Browns would be free to return to full capacity for camp of just under 4,000 fans per practice should they choose to do so.
Players are also resuming offseason off the field events.
Jarvis Landry will host his charity softball game June 12 at Classic Park in Eastlake and Odell Beckham Jr. has announced the return of his football camp to Strongsville High School July 26-27.
