Evan Mobley's coming to Cleveland.
As many expected, the Cavaliers selected the USC big man with the third overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft:
In one season at Southern Cal, Mobley averaged 16/9/2 on the way to being named Pac-12 Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Here's what The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor had to say about Mobley:
"Elite pick-and-roll potential: He can pop for jumpers, attack off the dribble, pick apart defenses out of the short roll, make hook shots with either hand, dribble to the rim, or throw down lobs. Excellent interior finisher with touch to score away from the rim and the hops to finish with powers."
