'Morning Quickie': Chargers players stuck in elevator for two hours

This is everyone's worst fear

Friday night proved to be a stressful evening for Justin Herbert and several other Los Angeles Chargers players…and it had nothing to do with football. The players, along with Jeri Fouts, wife of Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts, got stuck in a Dallas hotel elevator for two hours. A Dallas Fire and Rescue was called in after techs were unable to get the elevator moving again from “between the 3rd and 15th floor” of the hotel. Herbert, along with everyone else who was stuck, had to be pulled from the elevator’s ceiling panel. Coach Jim Harbaugh reported that Herbert was “a leader” and helped keep everyone calm during the ordeal.
