The NFL Is Changing Its COVID Protocol

The NFL announced that it will be changing its COVID protocols effective immediately, and it could actually help the Browns.

To summarize the new policy in place for the NFL and COVID, fully vaccinated and asymptomatic players can return by testing out of quarantine. They can have two negative PCR (or for the test to indicate a cycle threshold of 35 or greater, which essentially indicates how infectious you are), have a negative PCR test and a negative rapid test, or have two negative rapid tests.

Baker Mayfield, who tested positive on Wednesday for COVID-19, called out the NFL for not wanting to postpone the game. TE David Njoku tweeted "we rally up and handle business."
