A Browns Trade for Deshaun Watson Is Highly Unlikely

The new rumor over the last few days has been this: a Browns trade for Deshaun Watson. But that's all it is- a rumor. Honestly, it's not even a rumor! It's just a mock trade deal that has no factual basis.

While Deshaun Watson's numbers are better than Baker Mayfield's, Baker has only just finished his first season with a good coach. Like, a REALLY good coach. He definitely has room for improvement, but that is no reason to get rid of him. There's no reason to break up an offense that clearly has incredible chemistry. What the Browns need to focus on in the off-season and the NFL Draft is ramping up the defense.

It's pretty clear that Deshaun Watson is done with the Texans. Though an official announcement hasn't been made, he wants out. And there are other teams that should consider taking him because he is clearly talented. But the Browns? Not even in the running. So Browns fans, don't freak out- it's highly unlikely that this mock trade would actually go through.
