The radio voice of the Cleveland Browns Jim Donovan is stepping down from the broadcast booth. “I have called my last Browns game,” Donovan wrote in a letter to fans published by the team Thursday afternoon. Donovan revealed that his cancer has returned. Aside from stepping away for treatment during the 2023 season Donovan has called Browns games on the radio since the team returned in 1999. Earlier this year Donovan retired from WKYC-TV, where he began working in 1985, as the station’s long time sports director and anchor.
Adam Sandler expressed his family's admiration for Swift on Travis Kelce’s podcast “New Heights”. “When you guys started dating, my family was like, ‘Yes! They look great together!” Sandler recounted. Kelce, who is set to star in Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore 2,” responded by praising Swift as the “best performer out there. Sandler, a declared Swiftie along with his daughters Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15, know every lyric to Swift's songs.
Netflix is set to premiere a new sports documentary, "Starting 5". The documentary will focus on the 2023-2024 NBA season. It will feature top players, including LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Jimmy Butler, and Domantas Sabonis. The series promises an "unfiltered view of life at the pinnacle of professional basketball". "Starting 5" will have 10 episodes, premiering on October 9th.
