Elton John has been named Time magazine's Icon of the Year. Commenting on the honor he says, "What an honor! This accolade is a personal milestone and a reminder to the world that being yourself is truly iconic." The honor comes two days before his new documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late, starts streaming on Disney+ on Friday.
