The First Trailer For “Happy Gilmore 2” Drops: The first trailer for “Happy Gilmore 2” is out! Once again, Adam Sandler plays the failed ice hockey player who pivoted to golf. The first look in the trailer is of that golf swing, but the first speaking part is of Travis Kelce! His character welcomes Happy back. At the end of the clip is the staredown between Shooter McGavin and Happy in a cemetery of all places. The film will premiere on Netflix. See the trailer here.
Prince is among those receiving lifetime achievement GRAMMYs.
The prize has historically been given to under-recognized artists. The Recording Academy also announced it’s recognizing Frankie Valli, Frankie Beverly, the Clash, Bobby Jones, Taj Mahal, and Roxanne Shanté. Prince has been nominated for 38 GRAMMYs with seven wins. Three of his albums have been inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame.

Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music will premiere on NBC January 27th and was directed by Roots drummer and Oscar winner Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson. Other artists slated for the three-hour film include Dave Grohl, Olivia Rodrigo, Chris Stapleton, Elvis Costello, Kacey Musgraves, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie, Tom Morello and Paul Simon. Show creator Lorne Michaels was interviewed for the film, along with former cast members Fred Armisen, Jimmy Fallon, Bill Hader, Eddie Murphy, Andy Samberg and Maya Rudolph.
