The Cavaliers were hosting the Atlanta Hawks last night at the FieldHouse. A tough assignment for the Wine & Gold coming off a back-to-back after being in Miami two nights ago. But, also because Atlanta is 2-0 against Cleveland this season. I should say was 2-0. Wine & Gold win it last night over the Hawks 137-115. The Cavs record is now 39-9 after 48 games, tops in the NBA.
It was a night of unity, gratitude, defiance in the face of adversity and, most of all, music. FireAid took place last night (and this morning), and it was an event so huge it had to happen at two locations in Los Angeles: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum. The lineup of performers spanned from the 60s to present day. One of the highlights of the night? Nirvana’s remaining members reuniting for the cause. The massive event was held to raise funds for relief efforts in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires. The evening kicked off at 9:30pm ET, and didn’t end until 3:15am ET, and streamed live on most platforms. Emcees included Billy Crystal, Samuel L. Jackson, Quinta Brunson, Miles Teller and others.
The Kelce brothers are ready for the Super Bowl! Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles (whom Jason used to play for). The two brothers were going at it on the most recent episode of their podcast. With Jason going as far as declaring Cher’s song “Believe” as the official song for Super Bowl LIX. The game will be Sunday, February 9 from New Orleans.
