Pink Floyd has sold their recorded-music and name-and-likeness rights for roughly $400-million to Sony Music. The individual band-members still hold the songwriting rights to their music, however. While $400-million is nothing to sneeze at, Sony is likely thinking they’ll make a profit on the deal…with hits like “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Animals,” “Meddle,” “Piper at the Gates of Dawn,” “More” and more now theirs to use. Sony has been on a spending spree lately, purchasing catalogs from Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan and even Queen’s non-North American over the last few years.

Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks are collaborating on a holiday album. Kelce previously released "A Philly Special Christmas" in 2022 with fellow NFL players Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, raising over $1-million for charity. A second album, "A Philly Special Christmas Special," came out in 2023 and included an original duet with his brother, Travis Kelce, called "Fairytale of Philadelphia". While discussing future projects, Jason hinted at including Travis' girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on a future album, saying, "Maybe not this one... maybe in the future"

For reasons known only to themselves, some NFL fans have a passionate reaction whenever Taylor Swift is mentioned, or God-forbid shown, during a game. In a new anonymous poll, NFL players overwhelmingly have a different opinion. When asked if Swift’s presence at Chiefs’ games has been “positive, negative, or neither for the NFL,” over 72% of players said the Swift factor is a good thing, 22.5% said “neither,” and just 4.9% said it was bad.
