The Cleveland Browns may have not been ready for their home opener yesterday vs the Dallas Cowboys, but by golly the fans were in good spirits on a beautiful September day. The fans performed better than the team did as Cleveland lost 33-17 on the field. It doesn't get any easier for the Browns as they have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, Cleveland is at Jacksonville next week.
Recently, Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey inked the biggest deal in the history of the position. To celebrate, he took his fellow offensive linemen out to dinner at a “local barbecue joint”…and those boys can eat. Weighing in at a grand total of over 3K pounds, those men put away some serious food. Here’s what Humphrey said each player put away during that “gluttonous” meal: each had a steak, 20-plus appetizers, mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, French fries, mac and cheese, creamed corn, creamed spinach, and lobster…and they all started with a salad and ended with a dessert. We don’t know what the final bill ended up being, but it surely wasn’t cheap.
The world's largest goldfish, known as "The Carrot," has passed away at the age of 20 in Champagne, France. The orange carp weighed 67 pounds and was a major attraction, drawing people from all over Europe to see her. She lived in a pond at Bluewater Lakes owned by British fisherman Gary Tardi, who has now buried her beside her lake, where a plaque commemorates her. The Carrot's legacy continues with two offspring remaining in the lake, one already weighing 40 pounds.
