Since 2022, over 45 injuries have been reported in Wasaka Bay, 200 miles west of Tokyo, with a male bottlenose dolphin identified as the troublemaker believed to be acting out of sexual frustration. What in the fresh hillbilly heck is going on in Indiana? Alfred W. Ruf, age 71, pleaded guilty on Monday in Wayne County Court to a charge of aggravated battery posing a risk of death. His wife was hospitalized several times starting in 2021 and tested positive for several illegal drugs she said she didn’t take. The mystery was finally solved when Ruf admitted to police that he had been poisoning her Coca-Cola with MDMA, cocaine, and benzodiazepines because his wife’s daughter had told him to. The daughter was sleeping with Ruf. He was sentenced to four years in prison and five years of probation; the two women have not yet been arrested. Sigh.
