McDonald's says it will not be adding an egg surcharge as egg prices soar. Other chains like Waffle House and Denny's have started charging extra for dishes with eggs as bird flu has sent costs up. McDonald's said this week that's not going to happen beneath the golden arches. The chain posted to LinkedIn "Unlike others making news recently, you definitely WON’T see McDonald’s USA issuing surcharges on eggs, which are 100% cage-free and sourced in the U.S."
The mystery team proposing a ban the Philadelphia Eagles’ famed “tush push” is none other than the Green Bay Packers. The NFL’s EVP of football operations, Troy Vincent, initially chose not to identify the team, but Packers GM Brian Gutekunst later owned it. At the NFL Combine, Gutekunst admitted the Packers “hadn’t been very successful against it” and he expects “a lot of discussions about it.” One of those discussions might be that teams should figure out how to defend against it instead of just outright banning it…a move that Eagles coach Nick Sirianni says would be “unfair” to his team.
The sixth "Star Wars" movie, "Star Wars: The Revenge Of The Sith," is coming back to theaters to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film's release. The movie wraps up the "prequel trilogy," and tells the pivotal story of how Jedi Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) slowly becomes Darth Vader, as Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Yoda (Frank Oz) are forced to go into hiding. The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Ian McDiarmid, Christopher Lee, Jimmy Smits, Peter Mayhew, Ahmed Best, Oliver Ford Davies, Temuera Morrison, Anthony Daniels, Silas Carson and Kenny Baker. "Star Wars: The Revenge Of The Sith" will run in theaters for just one week, starting April 25th.
