You’d think that crashing your car into a home would be the worst part of your day… but no. An unnamed driver drove into a home in Buena Park, California on Sunday, and the impact knocked a large beehive loose. The driver was stung “savagely” a few times and taken to a hospital. The Orange County Fire Authority says firefighters had to cool the hundreds of bees with soap and water to calm them down.
A patient was reportedly left “screaming in pain” during a colonoscopy procedure where the attending doctor had neglected to put in his hearing aids. Gastroenterologist Dr. Ishwari Prasad has been placed on probation by Florida’s Board of Medicine, since now “two colonoscopy procedures went wrong under his care.” In one instance, Prasad is accused of “improperly delegating tasks to a surgical tech” that “didn’t have a medical license”. Prasad is also now accused of “not wearing hearing aides for one, if not both, of the procedures in the complaint…rendering the surgical team unable to effectively communicate with him”. The second cited colonoscopy in the complaint reportedly had a patient that was “not yet fully sedated…causing the patient to begin yelling”
There’s one surefire way to make sure the job was done wrong when it comes to vasectomies. In Russia, Maxim decided that four was enough when it came to children. So, in 2022, at the age of 45, Maxim decided that the time had come for the big snip, for which he paid $330 at a local clinic. Of course, all that money and time would be wasted if the results were as if the vasectomy never even happened. Early last year, Maxim’s wife told him that she was pregnant for a fifth time, and paternity tests confirmed he was the father. The clinic has called it a “medical miracle” and told Maxim he should be happy to have that fifth child. Happy or not, Maxim has still decided to sue the clinic.
