It looks like Nicolas Cage might be putting on some weight in the near future. Cage has reportedly agreed to take on the role of Hall of Fame football coach, broadcaster, and video game icon John Madden in an upcoming biopic. Director David O. Russell confirmed the casting in a statement, calling Cage “one of our greatest and most original actors.” At one point, Will Ferrell had been reported to be in the running for the role.
A bizarre crime in New York City's Central Park had an unusual ending. The incident happened Saturday morning when an armed thief allegedly swiped a man's phone at gunpoint, but then stunned the victim as he handed it back saying “This wasn’t the phone I was looking for.” The victim says the suspect fled the scene after the encounter and cops are still looking for him.
For the record, being asked to show your boobs is not, nor has it ever been, a policy of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents. In Syracuse, New York, 53-year-old agent Shane Millan was arrested after it was alleged that he “deprived four women of their constitutional right to be free from unreasonable searches.” Prosecutors say Millan told “three women to expose their bare chests to him over a webcam while he was processing their applications to enter the country.” The fourth woman did so, but reportedly kept her bra on during the process. Millan allegedly told the women it was “part of the process of being admitted to the country,” but prosecutors say it was really for Millan’s “own gratification.”
