I hope most of you are rested and ready for another cold week after Presidents Day Monday. A holiday where some, but not all, had the day off. As we start another week, we are forecasted to have frigid temperatures coming for Northeast Ohio following a dumping of snow over the weekend. Expect the frigid temps and negative wind chills to last until Friday.

The Cleveland Rockers, formally of the WNBA, could be coming back to the 216! Multiple sources have confirmed that the WNBA is likely bringing back a team to Cleveland come 2028. Cleveland previously had a WNBA team — the Rockers — from 1997 to 2003. The WNBA is adding three expansion teams in the next two seasons with Golden State, Portland and Toronto joining to boost the league’s franchises to 15. Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said last year the WNBA would like to add a 16th team by the 2028 season. And now, according to the Sports Business Journal, Cleveland has beat out other cities for a potential expansion (their bid is reportedly a league record of approximate $250 million). However, along with Cleveland, the league is reportedly looking to add two other teams. Frontrunner cities for those include Philadelphia, Houston, Nashville, Detroit and Miami.  An official announcement is expected by March.

The long-awaited sequel to Robert Pattinson's "The Batman" is a step closer. "Deadline" caught up with Pattinson on the London red carpet for his new movie "Mickey 17," and asked when shooting on "The Batman Part II" will begin. "End of the year," the actor replied. When pressed for the storyline, Pattinson backed off, but assured the interviewer, "It's cool though. It's cool." The news comes after the film’s release date was pushed back from October 2, 2026 to October 1, 2027. See the exchange to the right.
