Paul McCartney is petitioning for Joe Cocker to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In a letter addressed to “rock and rollers,” McCartney explained that Cocker was a “great man and a fine singer” with a unique style. “He sang one of our songs, ‘With A Little Help From My Friends,’ a version produced by Denny Cordell, which was very imaginative.” The legend added “And while [Cocker] may not have ever lobbied to be in the Hall of Fame. I know he would be extremely happy and grateful to find himself where he deserves to be amongst such illustrious company.” Cocker has been eligible for the honor since 1994, but this year is his first time on the ballot. Police in Moore, Oklahoma got a call from a child who requested "emergency doughnuts" before telling the dispatcher to "have a good day." The boy, Bennett, got lucky because police visited his home to deliver some snacks from Dunkin'. The police department shared on social media "Old cell phones may be unable to use high-speed data networks, take photos or play music, but they can still call 911 in an emergency. As long as an old cell phone is functional, it can be used in an emergency."
