Former Indians pitcher Cory Kluber is the latest in a slew of Major League pitcher to author a no hitter. It was the second in as many days as Detroit Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull authored one against the Seattle Mariners the night prior. This is the sixth no hitter thrown in the Majors this season. In modern day baseball, the record is seven and the out and out record is eight. The record of eight dates back to the 1884 American Association season! (Note: Major League Baseball as we know it with the two separate leagues of the American League and National League was founded in 1903) Do you think there will be a double digit amount of no hitters and will this stop at some point this season?
