As frigid temperatures settle into Northeast Ohio this week, the City of Cleveland is taking swift action to ensure everyone has access to a warm and safe place.
With temperatures dropping into the teens and wind chills making it feel even colder, city officials are determined to protect residents from the life-threatening conditions.
Across the city, warming centers have opened their doors to provide relief from the bitter cold. Inside these facilities, visitors find not only warmth but also hot drinks, essential resources and a sense of community.
The city has made it easy to access help by partnering with 211, a hotline that assists with shelter and warming center locations.
