Kyle, Texas took another stab at breaking the world record for the largest gathering of people with the same name on Saturday, and they weren’t even close. At a park in the suburbs of Austin, 706 Kyles of all ages gathered, but the current record is held by a town in Bosnia that gathered 2,325 people named Ivan in one spot in 2017. The city tried to break the record last year and drew 1,490 Kyles, so attendance was down by half. There’s always next year.
