More news is emerging about Jeremy Renner, who was airlifted from his home after a terrible snowplow accident. Footage obtained by TMZ shows a helicopter taking off and heading to a nearby hospital with Renner inside. There was some worry that they would even be able to get Jeremy Renner out of there because of the snow. One of Renner’s neighbors, who is a doctor, managed to place a tourniquet on the movie star’s leg until paramedics arrived. Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. He had surgery and remains in the intensive care unit. According to reports, Renner was run over by his snowcat after the machine started to roll away when he was not in the driver’s seat. He was injured during an attempt to get back into the snowcat.

Renner, who lives about 25 miles outside Reno near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, previously posted videos of himself using his plow to help his family get out of winter storms.

In a short post to Instagram, the actor shared a selfie on Instagram late yesterday reflecting some facial bruising, he went on to thank everyone for their well wishes.
