'Morning Quickie': Severe storms sweep across Ohio

Tornado warnings were issued in multiple counties

Strong storms swept across Ohio, downing trees and powerlines and causing damage in area counties.

Plymouth was hit particularly hard, where video shows a funnel cloud during a tornado warning.

Tornado warnings were issued for Ashland, Crawford, Richland, Medina and Wayne counties, but those have since expired. A tornado watch has also ended.

At least six people were killed when the line of strong storms moved through Indian Lake, northwest of Columbus.

Video from the area showed houses and businesses flattened as well as power lines and trees down throughout the area.

We’re still waiting confirmation from the National Weather Service on whether any tornadoes touched down during the storms.
