What's trending to start your day

Severe storms could bring flooding, wind, and hail throughout the day Tuesday.

Give yourself extra time before leaving for the morning as the roads will be wet and ponding could be an issue.

All hazards are on the table which include large hail, wind gusts 75 mph+, and multiple tornadoes across Ohio.

Anticipate Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and some Tornado Warnings to be issued later in the day.

We are currently under a “Moderate Risk.” This is a four on a scale of 1 to 5. Meaning widespread severe storms are likely. Long-lived, widespread and intense.

The last time a Moderate Risk was issued for the area was two years ago. The last time one was issued more than 24 hours in advance, which shows very high confidence, was eight years ago.

As it currently sits, predictions call for a partially sunny sky and temperatures in the upper 50s for the The Total Solar Eclipse on April 8.
