Marvel is attempting to bring back one of its most iconic actors…even though his character is dead.
The studio has approached Robert Downey Jr. to rejoin the “Avengers” franchise in 2026.
But the actor has hit back with an asking price exceeding $80 million.
Downey and his team are reportedly asking for the $80 million upfront, and a percentage of the movie’s profits.
“Avengers: Secret Wars” will be the name of the film. But, the actor, whose salary jumped from $500,000 for the original “Iron Man” movie to $75 million for “Avengers: Endgame,” is playing hard ball- even though his character Tony Stark/Iron Man died in “Endgame.”
And folks are still buzzing about Rihanna’s halftime performance and baby reveal at the Super Bowl. Google released its top search results for the game, which showed "is Rihanna pregnant?" as the top result.
