Raquel Welch, Golden Globe winner and sex symbol has died at 82. Welch’s family is keeping the details private at this time, but sources say her death follows “a brief illness.” Empire Magazine named Welch one of its “Sexiest Film Stars In History” in 1995 and Playboy put her at #3 of its “100 Sexiest Stars Of The 20th Century.”

Welch launched to fame in 1966’s “Fantastic Voyage.” That same year, she donned a revealing bikini in “One Million Years,” rocketing her from actress to sex symbol.
