'Morning Quickie': FCC complaints about Rihanna, & "Cocaine Bear" is getting decent reviews

What's trending

Rihanna's halftime performance at the Super Bowl was a bit too much for some.

Viewers "flooded" the FCC with complaints, saying the singer's set was too hot for TV. They apparently felt the lyrics and choreography were too much.

In comparison, RiRi's show had nowhere near the number of complaints Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl had. The duo had 540,000 complaints.

Rihanna will perform the Oscar-nominated song 'Lift Me Up' from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, March 12. This is Rihanna’s first Oscar nomination.

And, the movie “Cocaine Bear” hit theaters over the weekend, and it’s getting mostly positive reviews.

If you’re a fan of coked-out wildlife, then this is right up your alley.

“Cocaine Bear” currently has a 73% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film was number two this past weekend at the box office earning over $20 million dollars worldwide, which is great considering they only spent $35 million making the film. Ant-Man and the Wasp was number 1.
