Taylor Swift is kicking off her tour with two shows in Glendale, Arizona this weekend. To mark the moment, the local government announced they would rename the city in her honor. Mayor Jerry P. Weiers announced the temporary ceremonial name change for the city, which is Swift City.
The city's Communications Officer, Sue Breding, shared the runner-up names that were suggested by fans.
