
With less than 3 hours of deliberation, a jury sided with actress Gwyneth Paltrow in the Park City, Utah, ski crash trial. The panel found that retired optometrist Terry Sanderson was “100%” at fault and Paltrow was awarded the one dollar in damages that she had requested in her countersuit. Sanderson had originally sued Paltrow for $3.1 million in damages. He then later asked for $300,000.
Jeremy Renner finally talks about that horrific snowplow accident. In a preview of an interview to air next Thursday, Jeremy Renner spoke to Diane Sawyer about the incident that nearly took his life. And some of us are hoping this is an April Fools Joke, especially in the South. Another round of severe weather is crossing the country over the next few days. Meteorologists are warning that up to 70 million people across 20 states could be impacted by the storm system. The biggest threat from the weather is expected to come today to the Mississippi Valley region, including the state of Mississippi where tornadoes killed 22 people one week ago tomorrow. Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Texas will also see inclement weather. We will see our share of rain and wind today. Some of the weather could last into Saturday. The system is being referred to as a classic spring storm pattern.
