Five years ago, Slash returned to Guns N' Roses and Axl Rose after a twenty year break from the band. He now says in a recent interview that things have gone surprisingly well within the group. He also went on to say that the band has new music ready when Guns N' Roses tour begins in June. Also, Lynyrd Skynyrd have officially announced that they will continue as a band following the recent passing of founding guitarist Gary Rossington. The legendary Southern rockers will honor all of their upcoming tour dates, including their co-headlining summer outing with ZZ Top. Rossington, who was the last surviving original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, died on March 5th at the age of 71.
Ben Affleck stars in a new Dunkin' ad promoting a new offer called the Dunkin Run. In the ad, cashiers at Dunkin' don't recognize Ben and mistake him for his good friend Matt Damon. Ben goes on to poke fun at himself and his acting career, claiming that he doesn't do commercials and is a "real actor". You can see it here. This ad is a follow-up to the one he made with his wife Jennifer Lopez during the Super Bowl.
And a 15-foot tall red spoon statue that was stolen from the front of a Phoenix Dairy Queen has been the topic of discussion for a few days. Well, it has now been found. Michael Foster was taking a walk and playing Pokémon GO on his phone when he spotted the spoon inside the fence of a local middle school field. Surveillance video had captured three people taking the spoon. The thieves took off with it sometime between the evening of Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25. Police are still looking for the thieves.
