Fremantle, the company that owns the Baywatch franchise, is in the process of developing a reboot, and preliminary discussions have started with networks and streaming platforms. Baywatch originally ran from 1989 to 2001. The series basically made David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson international stars. They originally wanted to introduce a new version of the series after the release of the 2017 Baywatch movie. When that film had mixed reviews, the idea was put on hold until now.

SNL will return with a new episode on May 6, and the wait will be worth it—because Pete Davidson will be the the host. Davidson, who departed from the main SNL cast in 2022, is returning as a first-time Host. And CBS announced that Harry Styles and Will Ferrell will be James Corden’s final two guests when Late Late Show airs its last broadcast on Thursday, April 27th.

Americans now spend more on legal marijuana than chocolate. According to the survey, Americans spent more on marijuana than chocolate and craft beer combined last year. The sales of legal cannabis products totaled around $30B in 2022, compared to just $18.2B on chocolates. Sales of marijuana also topped the sales for painkillers last year, which brought in $22.8B. Sales of legal weed are expected to be close to $57B a year, which would put it ahead of tobacco product sales.
