Elton John brought an end to his touring career on the final stop of his farewell tour. The icon ended his “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” tour in Stockholm, Sweden over the weekend. John thanks the crowds there- and everywhere- for supporting him through his career and also teased more to come. Elton John began his 330-date tour in 2018. After pauses for COVID, he finally finished - 53 years after his first tour began and 51 years to the day after his first concert in Stockholm.
Machine Gun Kelly was performing at the 2023 Rock Werchter festival in Belgium on Saturday when he saw a sign from a fan in the crowd that read: "I just came from Mexico 4 u 2 punch me in the face." MGK was unsure about the request at first, but ultimately punched the guy. See the punch below.
A new survey found that of all generations, millennials (1981 to 1996) are the biggest culprits of lying in the workplace and on social media, with 13% being dishonest at least once a day. By contrast, only 2% of baby boomers (1946 to 1964) lied once per day. About 5% of Generation Z (1997 to 2021) and Generation X (1965 to 1980) admitted to daily deception. Where are we lying? Nearly a third of millennials admitted to fabricating their resumes this year, and another 2 in 5 have lied to the boss “to avoid embarrassment in the workplace.” Almost a quarter of millennials (23%) and 1in 5 Gen Z’ers (21%) said they have lied on social media this year to impress people. In contrast, a suspiciously-high 79% of total respondents claim to have never told any lies online. Men were also 10% more likely to lie on social media than women. As a whole, more men (26%) confessed to telling a fib once a day compared to women (23%), but almost everyone — 97% — is bad at identifying when someone is lying.
