Air quality alerts were issued for northeast Ohio and much of the U.S. on Sunday because of lingering thick smoke from Canadian wildfires, the National Weather Service said. The U.S. EPA's AirNow air quality page rated the air in Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit and Des Moines as "unhealthy" as of early Sunday afternoon. In Omaha and Cincinnati, the air quality was rated as unhealthy for sensitive groups. The smoke concentration is expected to wane by Monday across the Great Lakes, Midwest and northern High Plains, but there will still be enough smoke in the area for continued unhealthy air quality for sensitive groups, weather officials warned. There were nearly 900 active wildfires in Canada on Saturday, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre. The fires are burning from coast to coast, according to a map updated daily by the center. To date, Canadian wildfires have burned around 10 million hectares this year, an area roughly the size of the state of Indiana.

Tonight's Powerball Jackpot Up To $900 Million: After another winnerless drawing, the jackpot for tonight’s Powerball lottery was up to $900 million yesterday. No one had the winning numbers of 2, 9, 43, 55, 57, and the Powerball of 18 on Saturday night, leading to the third-biggest Powerball jackpot ever and the seventh-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history. Two tickets in Texas and one in Colorado did match all five white balls Saturday for a $1 million prize each. The last time someone won the Powerball was a top prize of almost $253 million on April 19th. Mega Millions is $640 million, that drawing is tomorrow night.

The proposed MMA fight between Twitter owner Elon Musk and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg continues to be a hot topic of conversation online, as fans can’t wait for two of the world’s leading social media figureheads to finally duke it out in the octagon. YouTube star Jake Paul has given tech CEOs Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg a $100 million offer to take their supposed fight to the Middle East and donate all proceeds to charity. Although rumors continue to rise about this possible bout, nothing has yet been solidly set in stone… but Zuckerberg’s recent training session with UFC champs Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya is making speculation rise to a fever pitch. For now, Jake is gearing up for his own fight against Nate Diaz in August — but fans will have to wait and see if either Elon or Zuckerberg take him up on his offer.
