Would you change your name to get something free for life? Thousands of people are saying they would! Subway is offering free sandwiches for life to someone who will change their name to Subway, and plenty of people are interested. The sandwich shop chain says over 10-thousand people have submitted entries indicating a willingness to make the name change. Subway is planning to select a single winner from the pool of applicants, giving the person 50-thousand-dollars worth of gift cards. The winner will also receive $750 to help cover the cost of the actual legal name change.

Taco Bell Celebrates Taco Tuesday: Taco Bell is giving away free tacos. The fast food chain announced guests can receive one free Doritos Locos Taco every Tuesday from August 15th to September 5th. So, why is the chain doing it? Because Taco John's dropped its trademark on the term "Taco Tuesday," making it possible for other businesses to use the phrase. Taco Bell released a statement saying "Taco Tuesday belongs to all who make, sell, eat and celebrate tacos." In addition to letting the trademark go, Taco John's also donated $40-thousand to the non-profit organization Children of Restaurant Employees, which helps provide financial relief to restaurant workers with children.
