When game show legend Bob Barker died Friday at 99, his girlfriend of 40 years, Nancy Burnet, was with him. She said his last words, just hours before he passed, were, "Give me a kiss. I'll be leaving." And, Bob Barker is still giving back after his death. His longtime rep Roger Neal is sharing that the bulk of the game show host’s estate will go to 40 charities. Among them are his United Activists for Animal Rights charity, animal rights orgs and military nonprofits. That includes the DonkeyLand Rescue in Riverside, CA, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as well as a bird conservatory.
Melissa Joan Hart shared a pretty hectic and scary day from her past during an episode of the “Pod Meets World.” Hart revealed that at the premiere of “Drive Me Crazy” in 1999 she had been crying all day because she had been planning to break up with her boyfriend…and then things only got worse from there. She found out she was fired from “Scary Movie” and also fired from “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” all in the same day! While at a party Hart says her lawyer came up to her, asking if she did a photoshoot for “Maxim.” When she confirmed she had, her lawyer gave her the bad news: “You’re being sued and fired from your show, so don’t talk to the press, don’t do anything.'” It turns out the shoot allegedly breached her contract with Archie Comics for "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" because “Maxim” had called her “Sabrina,” while she was posing in underwear. Her contract said she could never play Sabrina naked. Hart says she did “whatever my publicist told me to do” at the time and couldn’t control that “Maxim” had called her “Sabrina” on the cover. It was all resolved eventually, but Hart says she cried for days until everything got worked out.
