StubHub released their list of the top global touring artists of 2022. And The Rocket Man himself was at number 1. Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour brought in just under $400 million. The top three on the list are all British acts. Harry Styles at #2, and Coldplay checking in at #3. Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe rounded out the top 5, earning just shy of $200 million. See the full list here.

$6.28 billion is how much money the top 100 concerts worldwide grossed in 2022. That’s a 13% increase from 2019, before the live music industry suffered a major dip because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

And, Elon Musk went directly to the people: should I run Twitter? After almost 18M votes, 58% said "no".

Perhaps seeing an opening, Snoop Dogg jumped in, asking his followers if he should run Twitter.

With over three million votes in on his Twitter poll, the rapper had an overwhelming 81% approval rate.

So will there be a changing of the guard? Probably not.
