The rumors turned out to be true. WWE's SummerSlam is coming to Cleveland on August 3rd at Cleveland Browns Stadium!
Logan Paul, northeast Ohio's own from Westlake, announced the WWE's decision on his IMPAULSIVE podcast on Tuesday. See it below.
This will be the first time since 1996 that SummerSlam will be in Cleveland. 28 years ago it was held at the Gund Arena, now known as Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Speaking of, on August 2, WWE will be hosting its SmackDown event at the FieldHouse.
This event adds to the list of high-profile events coming to Cleveland this year.
